What an amazing chippy this is! Open on a Sunday too!!
Cracking fish as requested lightly battered, perfect chips and a crispy fritter, what more can you ask for.

I have frequented this chippy on a number of occasions but since my last visit I probably won’t return. I was served nice, fresh crispy battered fish with good quality chips (pictured below). But unfortunately last time I asked for the same thing and I got a reheated, chopped in half fish. Needless to say it went straight in the bin.
Nice Chippy the chips are nice get big portions. Peas and gravy are good aswell.
service was quick and it was busy. Plently of parking at side which is usefull.
Views of the countryside near by are amazing so its a good place to stop for some food and drink and it is also a cafe aswell.

Service: Typical chippy, “Do you want any fish?” Is the first question anyone gets asked. This is to help speed up your order. After that, unless there are ‘cooked chips’ ready to serve, it was a long wait, listening to the two young girls at the till stand and gossip. One order at a time. I took cash out as I was warned there was no ‘chip and pin’ facilities.
Food: Chip portions are large. The steak pie looked like it had been ‘warmed up’. No signs of it being bronzed by an oven. The gravy was so-so, but the Chinese curry sauce was lovely! The small cod was a good size.
Value: Great value; lots of choice.

I love the food here fantastic chips! Lots to offer on the menu. Service is awesome! I ring with my order then drive down and pick up, always bagged and ready with a huge smile. Place anyone can go and you will enjoy!!
The MOST AMAZING cheese and onion pie I have ever eaten and it was home made. Stays open from 11am to 8pm so great hours. Lovely staff, warm welcome, delicious food.
What a Disgusting place! i have heard the bridge chippy was supposed to be really good, what a joke! The chips were yesterdays reheated / refried you can tell the quality of potatoes they are using are the lowest you can get. I should of realised when i saw it was empty in what should of been a busy time for a chippy, looks like the Mothers in norden have more sense not to feed this tripe to their kids. Will not be back!!
